What we collect when you enquire or book, and what happens to it.

This page needs the owner’s review before launch. The structure below is correct but the specifics must be confirmed against how STEAM AND POOL actually handles guest data and bookings. Do not publish it as legal text without checking it.

What we collect

If you use the enquiry form we receive the name, email address, phone number and message you enter. If you book, your reservation and payment details are collected and held by Zotel, our booking system. This website never receives or stores card details.

Why we hold it

Solely to answer your enquiry and manage your stay. We do not sell guest data and we do not use it for advertising.

Analytics and cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages people read. It records things like the pages you view, roughly where in the world you are, the type of device you use, and which link brought you here. It does not record your name, email address or the contents of anything you type into the enquiry form.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise a repeat visit. We have switched on IP anonymisation, so your full IP address is not stored, and we have switched off Google’s advertising signals, so nothing collected here is used to target ads at you.

You can opt out entirely by installing Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking cookies for this site in your browser settings, or by using your browser’s private browsing mode.

Who else sees it

Zotel processes bookings and payments. The enquiry form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form-to-email service. Google Analytics receives the usage data described above. Google Maps is embedded on the contact page and sets its own cookies when loaded.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Booking records are retained by Zotel under their own retention policy.

Write to us at the phone number or WhatsApp on the contact page to ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it.
